For tent and marquee rental companies

A marquee is out for longer than the event

The build starts days before the guests arrive and the strike runs days after they leave. Software that thinks a rental is a single date will always tell you the tent is free while it is standing in a field.

Stock this handles

Whatever leaves the building and has to come back.

  • Frame marquees
  • Sidewalls and windows
  • Flooring and matting
  • Lining and drapes
  • Poles and stakes
  • Marquee lighting
  • Heaters
  • Generators

Everything is tracked as a bulk quantity rather than an asset record. Forty chairs are forty interchangeable units, which is how they are actually loaded, counted and lost.

What goes wrong

The three that cost you money.

  1. The event is one day. The booking is five.

A booking holds its stock across the whole out-to-back window, not just the event date, so a three-day build and a two-day strike are visible to the next enquiry as unavailable.

  2. Structures come back incomplete

Sidewalls, stakes and lining go out with a frame and do not always come back with it. Missing is a pool of its own, separate from damaged, so a shortfall does not quietly get written off as breakage.

  3. Kit that needs a repair before it goes out

Maintenance is its own pool too. Stock in maintenance is not serviceable, so it cannot be promised to anyone until it comes back out the other side.

How it works

One record, both ends of the building.

  1. Load your stock

The items you actually rent, in the quantities you actually have.

  2. Book against dates

Availability follows the booking, including turnaround days.

  3. Work the return

Count it in and put damage, repairs and losses where they belong.

  4. Trust the number

Every adjustment is recorded, so the next quote starts from a known figure.
